Much Marcle Yew

Much Marcle Yew description:

“The Much Marcle Yew is located in a small churchyard in Hertfordshire. We have visited her a number of times. She is approximately 3000 years old. She is considered a very special yew tree called a Golden Yew. There are very few Golden Yews in the UK, and she is the first one I have met; a very special encounter. She has not been trimmed or topiaried so one can see what an older tree looks like.” — Greg Thatcher
