Yew Trees #67

Yew Trees #67 description:

“This pen and ink drawing is a grouping of yew trees in the churchyard that were damaged by the snowstorm in 1997. I tried to capture the contrast between the two rear perfectly shaped topiary trees and the wild foreground tree that pulls us into the beauty of its mysterious inner depths. This drawing is a great example of something that was damaged and yet still very beautiful.” — Greg Thatcher
