“This is a mixed media piece. I used a hand colored Giclee print framed with Norfolk reed, one of the traditional thatching materials. My ancestors were thatcher’s so while in England I traveled to Devon to photograph Thatch cottages. seeing the cottages and witnessing the thatching process, I had a deja vu experience that filled me with wonder.” — Greg Thatcher
